In 1997, Right On! Magazine posted this contest months after Biggie's death on 3/09/97. The first 10 readers to answer their trivia question won a VHS tape of both "I’ll Be Missing You" and "We’ll Always Love Big Poppa." The trivia question was: “What is The Notorious B.I.G.’s original MC name?” Mind you, this was back when you had to snail mail your responses... and WAIT. Needless to say, I didn't send it in and thus didn't win, lol. I do, however, remember picking up the Tribute tape with those tracks on it - even with the songs being on the radio hourly, I still had to own it. Didn't everyone? It also came with a large-sized sticker and somewhere I have the original press release, which I'll share one day. Unrelated, I didn't know Sting's publisher was 'Illegal Songs, Inc.' - that's one of the best publishing names ever, lol. Rest in Peace, The Notorious B.I.G. If you won, let me know!
