Bite the Bullet is a collaborative album between Daniel Son, Asun Eastwood and producer Futurewave! Canada's bringing more underground heat to the table with this one, but y'all already know that Toronto has had held some of the best talent for years now. The 12-track LP boasts guest appearances from 36th Cypher, Kardinal Offishal, Mooch, Rob Gates, Rome Streetz and Saipher Soze. I appreciate the nod to Redman with the dope artwork, and the overall consistency of the raw beats and rhymes featured on the project. Definitely check out Bite The Bullet below...

Daniel Son x Futurewave "Moonshine Mix 2" (Album Stream)
Since dropping Moonshine Mix with Crate Divizion a little over two years ago, a lot has happened in Daniel Son’s fast moving career. Having teamed up with the insane production talent Futurewave, the pair went on an unbelievable run of three albums, putting rap on notice that the North was a force to be reckoned with. Each record pushed their own limits, budding a reputation as one of the most reliable and dynamic acts in the scene. Though Futurewave didn’t spearhead the instrumentation of the original, their fourth offering was set to be Moonshine Mix 2, a record that barely afforded fans enough time to digest Yenaldooshi from earlier this year before making itself hard to ignore.... Daniel Son has pushed himself to new heights with every release, and Moonshine Mix 2 was no exception to that trend. As one should come to expect, his confidence and attitude behind the mic built up a massive presence leaving no second of any verse wasted. From a pure engagement standpoint, Daniel Son delivered one of the boldest emcee performances of the year with his blunt and assertive style laying down bar after bar of filthy - realistically morbid and cold - life observations. Review by Dustin for Extraordinary Nobodies. Stream their brand new LP below...

Daniel Son & Futurewave "Yenaldaooshi" (Album Stream)
Daniel Son is back on the prowl with Futurewave for their latest full length chef up, “Yenaldooshi.” The Canadian emcee has been hard at work with people from all over the globe but manages to create the darkest and grittiest soundscapes when he gets with right hand man Futurewave. On this new endeavor the two recruit Rigz, Rob Gates, Ankhlejohn, Al Divino and Saipher Soze to jump on a few joints. With “Yenaldooshi,” Daniel Son appears to be unleashing the demons and darkness out of his system to create one legendary album. This is a top album for the year, dig into it below...

Rome Streetz & Futurewave "Headcrack" (Album Stream)
Toronto beatsmith Futurewave has outdone himself again by cooking up new product with Brooklyn eMCee Rome Streetz. Separately, these guys were knocking out some of the best bodies of work in 2018. Now, the Wav.God and the Bad Influenyce powerhouse have joined forces to present their first full length project, Headcrack. Known to keep it as grimey as possible in their respective lanes, this collaboration between the duo is the ultimate serve up of raw Hip Hop indulgence. - Hipnotik1

Asun Eastwood, Daniel Son & Futurewave "Physics of Faith"
Asun Eastwood, Daniel Son and Futurewave, are names that have been bringing quite a buzz to the masses. They’ve taken turns appearing on one another’s solo projects, bringing nothing but premium product. Knowing what they’re capable of, we asked for more, and they supplied. This is their time, it’s just the beginning of a continued wave of success for these talented individuals. Collectively, these 3 bring us Physics of Filth where they take us back down the dark streets of Toronto through detailed lyrical depictions and beats as cold as the hearts of the lost souls who roam the alleys at night. Enjoy this latest offering, and appreciate the blood, sweat and tears they put in to give us an album that’s nothing short of pure quality. - via Hipnotik1. Dig into this dope LP below...

Daniel Son & FutureWave "Pressure Cooker" (Album Stream)
A fierce collaboration between Toronto MC Daniel Son & producer FutureWave entitled "Pressure Cooker." A rugged sound throughout with fitting features from Crimeapple, Saipher Soze, and more. The winters up in Toronto grow more unforgiving each year, and the darker, colder side comes out in Daniel Son's content as well. The 12-track "Pressure Cooker" is probably his best effort to date and with the sound in the underground the last few years, he fits along with the best of today's gritty spitters. I'm glad the audience for it continues to grow as well, music was getting too soft for a while there. Dig into "Pressure Cooker" below! CDs and Vinyl available via OfficialCratesMusic.

Justo The MC & The Lost Info "Epiphany: The Lost Project"
Justo The MC and The Lost Info have joined forces, creating a hip hop odd couple fusing a Brooklyn, NY lyrical marksmen with a Toronto Based Powerhouse Production Team. This match made in heaven, formed by a Sound Cloud follow and a few emails has created a four headed monster pairing the East Coast with the North of the border in an unexpected and undeniable sound of raw unfiltered hip hop. Justo, who brings the lyrics, hails from the projects of East New York and has been an MC for almost 15 years. He got his first big break in 2011 when he and older cousin Vic Black of the Gang Starr foundation released his first single "It's Our Year". On the production side, The Lost Info is a three man beat making crew consisting of Ol Man 80zz aka Major (Toronto), Futurewave (Rexdale) & Blanxx (Brampton). The Ontario, Canada natives started on separate paths, but found a connection & respect for each other due to their mutual love for music and music making. The Lost Info and Justo The MC have now combined their talents and experiences to create a soulful, lyrical, universal and highly original "flava" bridging an old school foundation with a new school flair. Their first official project "Epiphany: The Lost Project" is set to be a game changer in its unique, yet nostalgic hip hop sound and delivery. Between Justo's timeless bars and smooth approach combined with The Lost Info's melodic, jazzy, hard-hitting and neck breaking variety of beats, it's easy to see why both sides agree this is just the beginning of a lethal combination.
