NineToFive Records returns with the third installment in their My Favorite Vinyl mixes - with Kiev, Ukraine producer KLIM Beats. This journey through KLIM Beats' record collection touches over an hour of handpicked vinyl from records he loves and wanted to share with listeners this go around. KLIM Beats "A Journey Through Sounds" (Instrumental Mix)

Today I want to share this fine mix titled 'A Journey Through Sounds' which is a small take on KLIM's beautiful discography that he's made over the years to raise awareness of what's happening in his home country of Ukraine. The situation that is on-going is something we all never could have guessed or imagined. These are difficult times in the world, and as I've said before, often times creators find inspiration under the most severe circumstances; in the face of their greatest struggles. It's their therapy and why art is such an important part of our lives. That said, definitely check out the mix and much love to KLIM, hold your head. KLIM also recently released his latest instrumental album, Moonball, check that out in the archives, along with many other instrumental releases. Props to NineToFive Records, an international community of producers, visual artists, writers and other creatives joined through a shared passion for genre-bending instrumental music.

KLIM Beats "Moonball" (Instrumental EP)

KLIM is a producer and beatmaker based in Kyiv, Ukraine. In 2009, he had his first attempts in making beats. Raised on and influenced by classic boom bap hip-hop from NY, Detroit, etc. KLIM has already released about 40 albums, performing fresh soulful and, at the same time, hard knocking styles. For his comeback on Hip Dozer (label out of France), he releases his latest EP, ‘Moonball.’ The EP mixes fresh and dynamic hip-hop beats and nostalgic vibes, perfectly made for relaxing and chilling. KLIM Beats "Warm Feelings" (Instrumental Album)

Warm Feelings is the latest beat tape from Ukranian beatsmith, KLIM Beats. At 16 tracks, the tape bursts with mellow vibes, bright keys and the intentional feeling of warm summer nights. There's a limited run of 12" vinyl that you can cop if you click through to the Bandcamp (while supplies last). If you dig into the archives, you'll also see nearly a dozen or so past releases from KLIM Beats, and I recommend listening to each and every one of them. The lane for instrumental releases has really flourished over recent years with Spotify playlists, Jazz-infused hip-hop and the whole Lo-Fi movement, but I do hope MCs are paying attention, and we'll hear more vocals over his various projects when the time is right. KLIM Beats "Winter Stories" (Instrumental Album)

Another phenomenal instrumental album from Ukranian beatmaker/producer, KLIM Beats. Winter Stories boasts eleven instrumentals, filled with jazzy loops; keys, strings and hard-kicks amidst other instrumentation. Grab a cup of coffee and if you can, look out the window to picture the snow-filled streets and holiday season in full swing. This is one of my favorite releases from KLIM Beats, but if you dig into the archives, you'll find a lot more selections from his extensive catalog, which is all available on Bandcamp. Many of his projects are also available on vinyl, so show 'em love.

NineToFive Records released My Favorite Vinyl Part 1 by KLIM Beats last year and now they're back with My Favorite Vinyl Part 2. A stunning collection of records by the talented producer KLIM Beats from Kiev, Ukraine. The mix was fully recorded live on vinyl at his home with the purpose of showing his love for these favorite records from his collection. KLIM Beats "Snippets Of Life" (Instrumental Album)

KLIM beats has been one of the most active beat makers in the scene during the last ten years. He's been creating such a great and exciting discography. The new album is titled 'Snippets Of Life' with a vision to embrace all the listeners with warm soft rhythms and classic boombap-styled beats. There's 14 stunning beats composed by the man himself on the MPC 2000xl and Roland SP404 in Kiev, Ukraine. This is a Limited Edition 12" from Qrates, so grab a copy and check it out below...

NineToFive Records has released this fine mix of over one hour of music - exclusively from vinyl and recorded in Kiev, Ukraine by their very own producer, KLIM Beats. He has been searching in his collection for his absolute favorite records and then put together a storyline with all of them just for us to hear some good soul, funk and jazzy songs. You can probably hear in some cases it's also material he's been using in his beats that they've released on the catalog. I've been following the production work and instrumental releases from KLIM Beats over the years and think he's a talented producer. KLIM Beats "Dusty Buttons" (Instrumental Album)

"Dusty Buttons," is the latest instrumental album from the very talented producer & composer from Kiev (Ukraine), Klim Beats! A blend of hard-hitting beats, with a bit more punchier feel to it this time. Hamburg's DJ C.S.P. is featured on the tracks, providing really sharp and precise scratching, which makes the project all the more fine-tuned. I caught a beat tape from Klim Beats some years back when I was in between projects with my artists, so there wasn't much I could do except enjoy listening to it, but I've been following and supporting his music ever since. KLIM Beats "Last Call" (Instrumental Album)

ANOTHER instrumental release from Ukrainian beatsmith KLIM Beats is called "Last Call." The project includes 10 smooth and soulful instrumentals. Some samples will sound familiar and rightfully so, but KLIM Beats adds his own unique flavor and the outcome is a real solid listen. KLIM Beats "Crystals" (Instrumental Album)

"Crystals" is the latest full-length instrumental album from Ukrainian producer, Klim Beats. I've posted a handful of his past projects, and he continues to release music consistently. It feels like there's a new beat tape in my playlist twice a month, and they do stay in rotation. This latest LP is 13 tracks strong, more of that crisp production you've grown accustomed to from Klim Beats. Dig into the archives for some of my favorites from his back catalog and definitely support the limited edition vinyl that's presented by Village Live Records. KLIM Beats "Soul Searchin'" (Instrumental Album)

Ukranian producer/beatmaker, KLIM Beats is back with another dope beat tape: the aptly titled "Soul Searchin'." He's released over a dozen projects thus far - all with quality beats - but when I saw the title of this tape, I knew I'd want to give extra attention to this particular release - and I'm glad that I did. KLIM Beats "City Lights" (Instrumental Album)

Another fresh beat tape from Ukranian producer, KLIM Beats. "City Lights" features 20 instrumentals from Kiev to Toronto, from Nobody to Grandma's Pies, an Autumn Evening to a Winter Storm; it's a wide range of colors and flavors on this one. Streetmatic is the latest beat tape from Ukrainian beatsmith, KLIM Beats. I've said it before, but I dig his style and continue to check out his beat tapes and instrumentals whenever I get an update. KLIM Beats "Anteater" (Instrumental Album)

Here's a throwback release from KLIM Beats; another dope selection of instrumentals added to his catalog with his 2012 beat tape, "Anteater." 31 instrumentals to be exact, released as a beat tape and available for purchase for eMCees looking for some heat for their next record. Not surprisingly, a lot of these beats sold; it's one of my favorite beat tapes from him, along with "Warm Sounds." KLIM Beats "Warm Sounds" (Instrumental Album)

Much respect to Klim Beats, a producer representing out of Kiev, Ukraine. From the visuals to the vinyl, Klim Beats crafts really concise, tight instrumental projects. "Warm Sounds" was one of the first instrumental albums I caught on to, the beat for "Rest and Peace Guru," immediately caught my attention. I was in between projects for my artists and I didn't have this site to blog about it back then or I woulda done that, maybe reached out for an interview or something. So, like most things - after a while - it kinda got lost in the shuffle. Anyway, it seems late to write about this now, but this site was created to put you up on the artists that deserve the attention and I believe Klim Beats is and will be a producer that y'all should listen to and follow. This is also the 3rd anniversary of the release of "Warm Sounds." So, with that said, stream it below and follow the breadcrumbs. (Update, 2018: with the passing of my Mother on 3/22/18, the only beat playing in my head right now is "Rest and Peace Guru," so I want to dedicate that track to my mom (and Praverb, and Guru and so many others that we lost too soon...), may they Rest in Eternal Peace. I love you, Mom.
