This is the third full-length studio album from Buffalo's Che Noir. With a handful of EPs produced by 38 Spesh, a collaborative LP with Apollo Brown ("As God Intended"), a well-received project with "Food For Thought" and the collaborative album with the homie Big Ghost Ltd, Noir Or Never... Che returns with The Lotus Child. I missed a few joints no doubt, but it's hard to keep up with everything these days! The Lotus Child is a really focused effort from Che, featuring a nice joint with Rapsody; 38 Spesh, Jack Davey and my brother Statik Selektah blessed her on this project as well with the touching track, "Angels." All instrumentation on the project is handled by Hector Puente Colon Jr and the Santiago Men's Basketball Philharmonic Orchestra.
