Ghostface Killah — who celebrated the 25th anniversary of his debut album Ironman, and is in the middle of his 3 Chambers Tour alongside GZA and Raekwon — has dropped a pair of freestyles: “I Got Soul” and “Bob James.” “I Got Soul” is his take on fellow legends Eric B & Rakim’s “I Know You Got Soul,” while “Bob James” — with Raekwon — has the two revisiting the track (“Nautilus”) RZA sampled for “Daytona 500.” Meanwhile, the “artwork” is a sly nod to the disks of beats RZA would label for the Clan during their early days (which was referenced in their Wu-Tang: An American Saga series). This could serve as a precursor to Ghost’s Supreme Clientele 2 project, which is reportedly arriving sometime in early 2022 and will be executive produced by Kanye West and Mike Dean.
