Oxnard CA, Triple Threat Producer/Emcee/DJ Body Bag Ben drops new album with Washington DC based Emcee/Producer J Scienide "Enough To Plague A Saint." J Scienide is coming off the massive success of his latest album "Stray From the Pack" with legendary Producer/Emcee Kev Brown. "We started working on this album right at the height of the pandemic while on lockdown. Ben kept sending me beat after beat daily. My creativity was sparked after many nights of listening to straight up head nodders. The album features some of hip hops elite wordsmiths Rome Streetz, Rasheed Chappell, Napoleon Da Legend, Wordsworth and Ill Conscious. Enough To Plague A Saint was released on J Scienide's label imprint Static King Records via Fat Beats. Dig in the archives for more from the homie, J Scienide and listen to the latest below...

J Scienide & Kev Brown "Stray From The Pack" (Album Stream)

Stray From The Pack is a homage to all the great duos like EPMD, Das EFX, Hall & Oates, Mobb Deep, Steely Dan etc, says J Scienide & Kev Brown. They add, "This album was fun to create because we both have so many styles and different music genres that we like. We kept it raw. Strictly hardcore beats, no guest appearances and no gimmicks - just dope beats and rhymes!" Props to the homie, J Scienide, as well as DJ Jon Doe, who is on all the cuts. Hit up the archives for lots more from J Scienide and Kev Brown, but before that, enjoy their new LP, Stray From The Pack, below...

Bozack Morris & J. Scienide "Popular Mechanics" (Album Stream)

"Popular Mechanics" is the collaborative album from Canadian producer Bozack Morris and Charlotte-born lyricist, J Scienide. J Scienide's 2017 release, The Actual Heat, was a slow-burn classic as he continued to diligently promote the project well after its original release date. That hustle gave fans in the know something to push and new listeners something exciting to discover, which is what the independent, underground scene was built on - digging and discovering emerging talent! Suffice to say, I'm excited about this release, as well, dig in below, and keep an eye out for J. Scienide's upcoming work with Kev Brown! The album is available digitally and on LP ... go cop it!

J Scienide "The Actual Heat" (Album Stream)

Managing artists in this industry has its perks; I get put-on to a lot of really dope music through features my artists have on other projects. Enter J Scienide, the Charlotte born, D.C. transplant, with his latest project, 'The Actual Heat,' on Official Crate Music. The project dropped yesterday with guest appearances by Kev Brown, Kenn Starr, yU, Nolan the Ninja, Grap Luva, Supastition, DJ Iran, DJ Jon Doe, and production handled by J Scienide and Gensu Dean. J Scienide enlisted a lot of great talent for this project and I'm really enjoying what I'm hearing. I'm bias saying one of my favorite cuts is with Supastition, Nolan The Ninja and yU, but the whole album is dope. Listen below...
