Revolutionary Rhythm "From The Soul" (Album Stream)

Revolutionary Rhythm is a Hip-Hop group from Los Angeles, California. They formed back in 2010 and consist of Kid Abstrakt, Predominance and DJ Million Faces. The group started off freestyle rapping in high school and hosting local hip hop events, then quickly started working on music together, making raw, jazzy, feel good hip-hop. Soon after, they released the highly slept-on mixtape "SoulVibes" which caught my attention and some of their favorite hip hop groups including Thes One of People Under The Stairs as well as The Pharcyde. Revolutionary Rhythm "Raw Rhythm Vol.1" (Album Stream)

While I've seen some solo releases here and there from artists out of Revolutionary Rhythm, I've been keeping eyes and ears out for the collective of Kid Abstrakt, Predominance and DJ Million Faces to release a new group project. R2 really blew me away with the growth in SoulVibes in 2012 and The Art Gallery in 2014. I'm very excited that they are back with Raw Rhythm Vol.1. The project features production from Dee Soul, Nu Vintage, Vanilla, saib, The Deli, Moods, and Je$u$. The LA crew keeps the vibe going with this offering - laid-back, but heavily driven by their flow and lyrics.

I recently posted about Revolutionary Rhythm's phenomenal 2012 mixtape "SoulVibes." I've had high hopes for the group and have been waiting on new material and here they've released their latest group effort, The Art Gallery. For starters, the Los Angeles group - Revolutionary Rhythm - consists of Predominance, Kid Abstrakt and DJ Million Faces. I believe this is their third official project as a group and the 13-track project features production from DJ Primate, DJ Day, Melmel, Dibia$e, Freddie Joachim, The Stuyvesants, Beatnick Dee, Vanilla, DJ Grumble, Mana, and Moods. Peace to Revolutionary Rhythm (Predominance, DJ Million Faces and Kid Abstrakt) on this breakthrough sophomore project "SoulVibes" from 2012. The Los Angeles crew caught my attention with their in-the-pocket delivery over Jazz and soul-infused production from Beat Gates, Rhythmatical, C mon & Kypski, Panik, Suhnraw, Exile, White Shadow, Ohbliv, Weirddough, MF Doom, Cloud, and Question. This project holds a steady vibe throughout and the replay value is incredible! Word is, the project was on the radar of Thes One of People Under The Stairs, so I expect a lot of great things from R2.
